Brugge

Yes we went this weekend to Belgium, Brugge. A really nice village and much bigger than I expected. I am going to tell something that is very hard for my. Me and my boyfriend are 2,5 years together, but now 2 weeks ago it ended… The relationship is over. The little holiday was already booked, but we went! We are now very good friends, I still living with him, I have to find my own house now, and that can take a while. For my it is very hard to say goodbye to a relationship of 2,5 years, but I am very glad that we are still friends, and that I can stay with him until I found a new house. My daddy lives 30 km from here, and that is to far for my and my job, I also have my friends here…

But now I can have my own furniture’s, colors on the wall and I want to adopt 2 kittens… I found already a nice bench in the color brown. The colors I like for my furniture is brown and white. Oke enough sad things for now! We went to Brugge, they have lovely shops over there, shops with old English dishware and lot of roses! Nice boutiques with clothes and very nice restaurants.

The first night we eat over here, a really nice place! We enjoy our food! Saturday we went to Brugge and Knokke, just for a walk, and see things. My wallet was very empty so I couldn’t buy clothes… (sad sad sad!) In the hotel room was a bath! That is very lux for us, we haven’t one at home… and of course the crochet needle went with me to Brugge! Not that I crochet in bath! And a lot of reading ( in bath)

So that was my weekend… and the story of my, a little bit sad, but now is my boyfriend a really good friend, and I am glad that we are now very good friends!

 

Belgium

Tomorrow we are going to Belgium! To Brugge… we ( my friend and I) never been there, but they say it is the Belgium Venice. I found some pictures of Brugge, sunday I have my own pictures but first see this!

                                                  

 

We booked there a hotel with bath! In our own home we don’t have one, so this is very lux for us! and my knitting are traveling with me!

 

 

Tomato

Homemade in the summer… this crocheted tomato, isn’t he sweet? It is in the style of amigurumi. I found it al little bit hard to make it, it is al very tiny and creak to crochet it.. ( I hope I spell the words correctly ) I get cramp in my fingers, and have to stop in a hour, stretch my fingers and hope I can do it again for a hour.

Much much easier is are these mouse’s, I have to knit them and that is much more relaxing for my fingers! I made 2 of them for our two cats… they love them, because the yarn is sticking al little bit on there nails is looks for the cats the mouse is moving it selves!  You can also made the tail in a knot so you can wear it with your keys!

Fortune cookie

You tube is great! I found a video how to make a fortune cookie! I love it. It is very simple. So watch the great video and make one of your own!

My web store

I already told you that I have my own web store, I sell stones and little crochet bags to keep the stones.
 The web store is now open for a month, and when you have costumers you really get a kick… Crochet is my hobby, and the stones are amazing, the have such beauty, and help healing all sort of complains. ( I speak English very well but writing is difficult, so I hope you can read it and understand it!)

 Of Corse I have pictures of the stones and bags….
        

I also sell stones for your necklace, and stones that are just for looking at because there are so beautyful!

We call it in Holland a ‘Geode’ I dont know the word in English.But isn’t he beautiful?
Of Corse I wear my own stone, a cristal.The stone works for much complains, like a headache, tiredness, back complains etc

How I started

2 years ago I started with crochet. Little flowers and bags, My mother in low learn me how to crochet. When I was little my grandmother learn me to knit… as grandmothers do! I am no great knitter or super with crochet needles, but I love it! In
Holland were I live ( yes I am a Dutch girl) is knitting and crochet a small hobby, not very much people do it, but it gets popular again! In the 80’s everybody was knitting… Now we have the book stitch ‘n bitch it is getting very popular again… we are waiting for the translation of ‘happy hooker’ from Debbie Stoller.We love Debbie Stoller!
